Summer is the season for all things fresh and growing. Everything is always better outdoors in the summer. We have abundant fresh flowers planted around the venue, including lilies, plants, and more! The lush greenery around the pond sets the stage for outdoor ceremonies.
You also use outdoor spaces for cocktail hour, lawn games, cigar bars, and even your dancing! Something else you can find growing around the venue is the baby ducks that love to swim with our swans in the pond!
3. Travel Season
Summertime is traditional vacation time, which means out-of-town invitees are more likely to be able to share your big day with you! With multiple hotel options within 5 minutes of the venue, out-of-town guests are in luck when you choose the Charleston Event Center. Your guests can also make a weekend out of their trip to your wedding. The Como Zoo, Mall of America, Valley Fair, and more Twin Cities attractions are all within 30 minutes of the venue!
